Update-Manager Cannot Initialize the Package Information: New

Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Running the update manager/apt-get update gave me this:

Could not initialize the package information

A unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:

E:Problem parsing dependency Depends, E:Error occurred while processing thekompany-support (NewVersion1)
E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/www.getautomatix.com_apt_dists_feisty_main_binary-i386_Packages
E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.

The following is the content of my complete source.list file:

Automatix2 is a script that tries to install some software, and often fails and breaks systems. We don't provide support for it, and we strongly discourage its use. Sorry but we are unable to help in this instance.

The error in the package in question has been fixed.
Please do the following and the error will disappear:
 sudo apt-get update
