Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

I uso Feisty 386 on a AMD 64, have automated updates on and Automatix installed (it seems to have any realtion). When I started up my computer the update-manager began to work. After a while it reported this message:

E:Problem parsing dependency Depends, E:Ocurrió un error mientras se procesaba thekompany-support (NewVersion1), E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/www.getautomatix.com_apt_dists_feisty_main_binary-i386_Packages, E:No se pudieron analizar o abrir las listas de paquetes o el archivo de estado.

Felipe,

Automatix2 is a script that tries to install some software, and often fails and breaks systems. We don't provide support for it, and we strongly discourage its use. Sorry but we can't be of assistance in this case.

The error in the package in question has been fixed.
Please do the following and the error will disappear:
 sudo apt-get update
