Bug Description

Kernel boots until the qml-phone-shell is up, and then reboots the device (probably a crash, would need to grab the log via usb/uart serial).

Same tree works when built with 4.6 (original version used by the Android build system).

To test:
* Flash latest raring/saucy touch image at manta
* Install/extract the kernel from the linux-manta package (saucy)
* Run: abootimg -u /dev/block/platform/dw_mmc.0/by-name/boot -k <kernel>
* Reboot

To restore to a working kernel, just flash the boot.img file available at cdimage (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-touch-preview/daily-preinstalled/current/raring-preinstalled-boot-armel+manta.img) with fastboot (sudo fastboot flash boot boot.img).

Kernel tested: UBUNTU: Ubuntu-3.4.0-1.5

gcc-4.6 is still available in saucy (albeit in universe). this kernel should then be build with gcc4.6 in the ubuntu archive.

We're unlikely to fix this.

Is the problem still present with recent 2014-08 released of gcc-linaro 4.8 and 4.9?
