Bug Description

Now that linux-grouper has a proper console and is being passed console=tty1 on the container-flipped image (for upstart's sanity), the kernel is spewing all kinds of output to the screen at boot time. Even when I pass 'quiet' on the kernel commandline, this output appears because the Nexus kernels don't include the Ubuntu sauce patch for this.

Please add the Ubuntu sauce patch for 'quiet' to the nexus kernels.

ARGH ! ... pretty please revert that asap, this makes debiugging the boot pretty hard, there is no need to quieten the boot if (as on all kernels but grouper) the kmsg output goes to the ram console (it can then be read from /proc/last_kmsg from the recovery mode to analyze what broke) instead of the framebuffer.

i mailed the kernel ML with a fix for the grouper kernel so fbcon, which was accidentially enabled, is off again and all boot output goes to the android ram console.
