Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

I downloaded the live iso for the 23/06/07. Clicking on install crashed the system out.

Running Ubiquity in cli gave me the following....

***MEMORY-WARNING***: gksudo[8811]: GSlice: g_thread_init() must be called before all other GLib functions; memory corruption due to late invocation of g_thread_init() has been detected; this program is likely to crash, leak or unexpectedly abort soon...

I will add the crash report asap.

Appologies the crash report produced is an empty file so that's no use.

I encountered the exact same issue. It is resolved by the workaround included with Ubiquity 1.5.4.
