Gain cannot connect to msn messenger

Bug Description

Hi,

I'm using Ubuntu Studio with the latest kernel on a HP laptop with i386 architecture.

I will be staying in a guest house for a month. There is wireless(and wired is also available) internet in the guest house and I dont have any problems concerning internet except that gaim does not connect to msn messenger.

I tried to connect via msn live program from my windows partition and no problems are present. but for some reason I cannot understand, gaim does not connect.

I would appreciate any help provided.

Check if they are both using the same port, you can also try enabling "HTTP mode" on Gaim.
