Bug Description

Binary package hint: gkrellm

I updated to gutsy yesterday and since then, gkrellm crashes on a regular basis (after a long while: one hour, two?)

This is the backtrace:

Hi eantoranz,
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. I currently run gutsy as well, though I haven't been able to reproduce the same crash. Would you be able to provide any information from running the program through the terminal and copying and pasting any error messages, as well as an strace (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Strace) and any other information that can be provided with tips at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash

Was there anything specific that you can recall that you may have been changing as well, such as themes, or any other tasks that may have been running and contributed to the crash.

Thank you again for the report,
Regards,
Justin

Well.... not really something that I did like themes or something trickier.

The only think I can tell you is that I'm running kubuntu (yes, with
K). Maybe that's the problem.

I'll try with strace to see how it goes. Wait for my follow-up.

This is the end of the execution. I hope it's enough information from strace:

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. If you could test the current Ubuntu development version, this would help us a lot. If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #>, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Zero, That was a long time ago. I've not seen gkrellm crashing often
in quite a while so I think it's been fixed.
