[grouper] Mir adds flickering, it's slower and almost freezes

Bug Description
With mir (r89) on grouper, I can see a lot of intense flickering. Wipe gestures sometimes are very slow, sometimes make the screen get stuck for some seconds.
Please let me know if there's any additional information I can provide. There are no crash files.

The slowness was slightly reduced, when I killed bluetooth (currently using 100% CPU because of bug 1217865). The intense flickering and screens getting stuck remain.
