Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
Im using a hp pavilion dv2172ea from the dv2000 series
I can install gutsy tribe 1 but today i was trying to install tribe 2 and it went ok until the recognition of the partitions but when i tried to make a change to the partition (for example tick the formatting or change name to root file system) the installer just hangs and i need to force quit.
The same problem even with daily live of 14/07/2007

informatico,
I'm fairly sure this is a duplicate of another bug, but lets err on the side of caution. Does this problem still occur with the latest daily CD images? If you run the installer with --debug (`ubiquity --debug` in a terminal window), does the problem still occur? Can you attach /var/log/ installer/ debug (created by --debug) and /var/log/syslog if the problem persists.
Thanks!
