Bug Description

KToon is a 2D Animation Toolkit designed by animators (Toonka Films ) for animators, focused to the Cartoon Industry. This project is covered by the GPL License using G++, OpenGL and QT as programming resources from KDevelop as the development platform.

I think that last updated date applies to some specific part of the
website. The main page shows:

Which is not exactly yesterday, but it's a lot better than last march. ;-)

The developers did an Ubuntu test package (which is available on their
download page) back in March of '07.

I had a cursory look at the licenses and they seem to be OK.
They included some source files directly from the kde libraries, which is not wrong per se but we could use those in our repositories (I don't know if we could have some dependency problems because of this).
They also use a funny build system but I think we can cope with that.
What is really not acceptable is that they should clean their tarball; we cannot redistribute the tarball if it is not distcleaned.

Marking bug as invalid. If you want to upgrade it to upstream version 0.8.1, you can open another one for that source with the upgrade tag.

See also bug #129680. The reason ktoon isn't in the archive is because it FTBFS.

Okay. Sorry about that. I did try to search for it before I
submitted it. Can someone please tell me what I should have done?

If I wanted to help get it to build, what should I do? What I mean
is, what is the normal process? I'm betting this is all documented
somewhere. I'd love to read through the process.
