Bug Description

Binary package hint: uswsusp

Hello,

The upstream version freeze of gutsy is VERY near. I just noticed that the package "uswsusp" in the gutsy repo is very old - 0.6~cvs20070618 ...

After that, the package has been updated quite a lot, especially the whitelist entries - http://suspend.cvs.sourceforge.net/suspend/suspend/whitelist.c?view=log

Having more whitelist entries can make the difference between s2ram working out of box or not working at all ! Can the uswsusp package be updated and re-synced from CVS one final time before gutsy gets frozen ?

Thanks.

Debian has 0.7-1. Debian changelog:

 uswsusp (0.7-1) unstable; urgency=low

   * New upstream. For the impatient: this closes: #441310.

     liblz from the source package.
   * We can now stop suspend while using libsplashy (closes: #411061)
   * Updated s2ram manpage.
   * Add debconf translation (closes: #434667)

   * Document that change in NEWS

  * Don't build s2ram. It's not sensible on Ubuntu.

Syncing would overwrite them.

Is this planned for hardy?

Some of the issues with 0.6~cvs20070618-1ubuntu2 still exist in hardy beta.
for example: bug 109151
