Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-games

From time to time gnometris blocks my whole system (blocks don't fall down, panel doesn't react, not possible to switch to another window, ...). After a few seconds the system reacts and everything goes on as expected.
This behaviour is not reproducible.
System: AMD Sempron, Ubuntu 7.04 64bit Gnome 2.18.1

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. May you try to run gnometris from the command line and see if there's any output when you get the system hang? what video driver are you using?

Does it happen if you run it without having beryl activated?

Beryl is deprecated, plus use compiz fusion.
