Bug Description

Binary package hint: mythtv-database

In feisty-proposed,
mythtv-database 0.20.2-0ubuntu0.7.04~proposed1

update-notifier is added as a dependency. I run kubuntu and have adept-notifier installed instead.

The dependency should be update-notifier or adept-notifier (or neither)

    - Fixes mythstream load errors. (LP: #136483)
  * debian/control:
    - Depend on update-notifier | adept-notifier to not pull in
      unnecessary dependencies for kubuntu users. (LP: #135431)
    - Depend on usplash-theme-ubuntu | usplash to make backporting to
      Dapper easier.

  * debian/control:
    - Make update-notifier | adept-notifier recommends so
      gnome/kde users benefit without harming non users. (LP: #135431)
  * debian/mythtv-database.postinst:
    - Check for $unud and only copy if it exists.

update-notifier pulls in the following packages to a kubuntu user adding about 50 megs:
