Bug Description

Looking at this url - http://www.ubuntu.com/community/processes/newmember there are multiple references to sending your signed Code of Conduct to Benjamin Mako Hill. I am not sure how relevant this is anymore.

Personally, I think it's a good idea to keep the means for someone to become an Ubuntero via pen and paper: some may not wish to use Launchpad and others may simply not wish to use GnuPG...

I recall this being discussed at a Community Council meeting some time back, although I can't remember what the consensus was: I'll subscribe the council for their input.

If we wish to preserve the role, as for whether mako is still willing to do it or someone else could, I'm not sure.

Did the community council ever get round to deciding what to do about this?

The steps have been moved off to a wiki page where the appropriate people can edit it at will. Closing.
