Bug Description

This is part of user data encryption work. Right now, the Touch kernel has a small swap file. It should either be removed or we should use encrypted swap. This isn't technically in ecryptfs-utils, but track it here for now (feel free to reassign).

Please please please remove swap by default. Or, perhaps, consider the swapspace package, which will dynamically manage swap space using swap files that grow and shrink as necessary.

sorry, but since we 100% rely on the android lowmemorykiller for app management, we kind of are bound to what the android container considers best for the HW (unless we know better i guess) ... all our devices have zram hardcoded in their android init.rc currently. while we use a 32k swapfile during boot to prevent the kernel from doing bad stuff on low end devices like krillin, it is swapped off and we switch to zram during boot.
