add model gives no response

Binary package hint: displayconfig-gtk

After I click "Add Model," and chose my Acer laptop's.inf file, nothing happens. I get no indication if it worked or not, no item is highlighted, and I'm not automatically moved to a different model. A user should have at least one of the last two hints. Here is the terminal traceback:

I'm sorry for any problems I might have caused, but I felt it was the only way I could get an answer from you. This bug was handled quite differently from the one I posted earlier, bug #135000 (there was more communication between the reporter and the developer).

I think it's good practice to mark a report as "Fix Committed" after you upload the package, or comment that you wil upload it and mark it as "Fix in Progress" -- just to give the reporter some confirmation. Because of the speed at which it was marked, and the lack of communication, I felt that someone might have accidentally marked it as "Fix Committed."

Again I am sorry and thank you for the fix.

Sorry, I am low on time. But I should have really written a small comment. After the release of the next version this bug will be "fix released".
