Bug Description

This is failing to uninstall in gutsy:

(Reading database ... 492088 files and directories currently installed.)
Removing sun-java5-bin ...
update-binfmts: warning: no executable
/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun-1.5.0.12/jre/lib/jexec found, but continuing
anyway as you request
update-binfmts: warning: /var/lib/binfmts/jexec does not exist; nothing to do! update-binfmts: exiting due to previous errors
dpkg: error processing sun-java5-bin (--purge):
 subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 2
No theme index file in '/usr/share/icons/sun-java5.png'.
If you really want to create an icon cache here, use --ignore-theme-index.
Errors were encountered while processing:
 sun-java5-bin
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

sun-java5 (1.5.0-12-2ubuntu4) gutsy; urgency=low

  * Revert registering the jar binfmt (jexec is shipped with sun-java6
    or newer). LP: #139060.
