wiki spellcheck crashes on Add checked words to dictionary

Bug Description

1. Not logged in, go to the FrontPage ( https://help.launchpad.net/FrontPage )
2. Click Spelling (below Subscribe and Delete Cache on the left under Page Actions)
-- A direct link: https://help.launchpad.net/FrontPage?action=SpellCheck
3. Check one of the words in the list
4. Click "Add checked words to dictionary"
5. You should see the following error message: "A problem occurred in a Python script."

Hello Jonathan,
thanks for the bug report.
I couldn't reproduce the behaviour you described. Have you tried to add a specific word that might have caused the failure?

I'm still getting the same behavior at this time. I've attached a screenshot of all the steps up to 3 completed. I'll attach another screenshot of what it looks like after performing step 4.

Thank you for the screenshots. I was able to reproduce, but to do so, you need to be logged out.
To successfully add words to the dictionary, just log in.

I'll see if Tom can fetch me the log to see what's broken.

Tom pulled the logs for me. There is no obvious error being reported in the logs except for a bunch of theme errors.

 I'm trying to clean those up separately but I don't think that's the cause of this problem. Investigation continues....

I seem to have fixed this as well. It's working now in production and on my test copy.
