Bug Description
With the 20070920.1 daily build of the menlow_full image, attempting to go into maintenance mode is prompting for a password. However no known password is accepted. Tried using both "ume" and "root" as passwords to no avail.
This is an issue since I have to boot to single user mode so I can install the flash plugin which is required by the UME UI.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install from USB thumb drive.
2. Press ESC to get to the grub menu.
3. Press "e" to edit.
4. Use the arrow keys to to move down to the "kernel /vmlinux-
5. Press "e"
6. Add the word "single" to the end of the line
7. Press "b" to boot the system.
8. Notice prompt for maintenance mode password. No known password works.
