Bug Description
The graphical installer of fiesty insists that I format /. I do not want to format slash, I have 120gig of data in /gentoo which was my old gentoo install that I need to keep. I see no reason for a 'error' (as in- cannot continue error) rather then a 'warning' (let user know, but allow them to continue).
If I want to install without reformatting /, surly that's my choice?
Thanks!

It's an error at the moment because not formatting is very likely to break the rest of the installer (and I got fed up of the bugs about that, so needed a quick and sure workaround). Eventually there should be something more fine-grained. This is also bug 72897.
