font problem in all KDE applications

Bug Description

In all the KDE application, I'm unable to use some of the keys of my keyboard.
For example, if I press the "é" key, I obtain é. This is not the case in any
other application like gnome, firefox, openoffice.

Moreover, In the Konsole, some character are not correctly displayed. For example :
Preconfiguring packages ...
Sélection du paquet kdewallpapers précédemment désélectionné.

I've installed KDE using something like "apt-get install kubuntu-desktop" after
a fresh installation of the bootable CD of the Preview of Hoary in expert mode.

After having completely reinstalled ubuntu, it is working correctly.

I think we will never know what was the problem.

Any Ideas?

I run Ubuntu feisty i386.

Is this still an issue with Feisty final (Martin: you were running one of the Herds, right?)? - Is anyone able to reproduce it? If not I will close this bug as fixed in Feisty in a month.
