Updated kernel to 4.1rc1 and prfevoiujsly conflicted with the image compile so uninstalled open-vm and then reinstalled under new kernel.

Closing out pre-18.04 build failure bug reports for open-vm-tools.

This type of bug is often due to a kernel/vmware version discrepancy, that was specific to the versions in play at the time. So, this particular build failure is unlikely to be relevant to currently maintained Ubuntu versions. If you hit similar-looking build failures with newer versions of Ubuntu please file a new bug report with the corresponding log and config files.
