Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

The German-Translation-String for ../plugins/backup-restore/backup-restore.c in evolution-2.12 german po-file, makes fist-time assistant too wide to fit screen with a 1024x768 resolution. The english original consists of two sentences divided by a "newline" while the german translation consists of one sentence without such a break. E.g. changing the line "Mails, Kalender, Aufgaben, Notizen und Adressbücher " in "Mails, Kalender, Aufgaben, Notizen und Adressbücher \n" would make the dialog fit again for 1024x768 resolution.

do not specify the version in the title, the information is easily outdated and create confusion, if the bug is still open that's because that's still an issue on the current ubuntu version otherwise it should be closed

It is in a slightly different location but it is the only one I found using LP. Otherwise let me know and I'll take a look at the po or source code directly.

This bug was reported a long time ago and I mentioned the only string I found. That one is fixed so I am closing this bug as Fix Released.
