nameserver abstraction doesn't allow avahi mdns resolution

Bug Description

Binary package hint: apparmor

In order to, say, ping foobar.local, the application needs to write to avahi's socket, at /var/run/avahi-daemon/socket

This should be a part of the nameserver abstraction (or maybe the mdns abstraction should be modified to include this), as Ubuntu ships with avahi resolution enabled by default.
