cannot "safely remove" 2 thumb drives

Bug Description

when I plug in two thumb drives at first the "safely remove" option is on all of them but once I use the "safely remove" option on one thumb drive the option dissapears from the other drive(s).

I am using kubuntu fiesty.

Not sure if this is really a HAL problem or a UI (kde?) problem.

Since Gutsy, drives are not ejected any more, but unmounted, so the remove menu entries are more consistent now.
