Openoffice writer default font

Bug Description

Hi

I am using version 2.2 of Openoffice that is used with Feisty.

For Writer, I prefer to use a Times New Roman font. But when I change the font on the Tools->Options ->OO Writer -> Basic Fonts and change the font in the available fields, that change is only valid for that document. In other words, I have to redo this setting every time I start a new document.

Please let me know if you need more information.

I can't reproduce this with the Gutsy version, openoffice.org 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu2

Hi,

for various reasons, I have not yet updated to Ubuntu 7.10.
A temporary work around I have found is to create a custom template for my documents with the font I need.

I can not reproduce this bug in Hardy (OOo 2.3.1).
Is it still reproducible in Gutsy (OOo 2.3.0)?
