Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

unresolvable error while initializing update manager
Unknown error, type 'exceptions.SystemError'
E:The package virtualbox needs to be reinstalled but I can't find an archive for it.

First encountered upon upgrade to 7.04 when I tried to download updates. Also encountered upon right-click start of Package Manager and upon start of Synaptic Package Manager.

Thanks for your bugreport.

This looks like there is something wrong with your virtualbox install. To remove it, run:

$ sudo dpkg --remove --force-remove-reinstreq virtualbox
