rtl8139 wrongly detected

Bug Description

shuttle ss50

tested with kubuntu gutsy rc1 and alt install cd
tested with debian edgy also

detects the onboard rtl8139 rev 10 as a 8139c and loads the 8139cp module
the installer output suggests you load the 8139too module
but the installer loops loading the 8139c module (approx 10 times )

this then says the link is up even if the ethernet cable is removed
(the packet count is zero)...
the loaded modules are
8139cp
mii
ipv6 used 8 times
8139too
its not possible to remove ipv6
i think af_packer was also loaded
