Bug Description

The lubuntu-desktop package depends on gnome-mplayer, which in turn depends on gmtk. Both of these packages are synced from Debian, but Debian has removed them from unstable and testing, which means this software in Ubuntu is now unmaintained.

Lubuntu developers, please either:
 - drop your dependency on these packages, so that they can be removed from Ubuntu; or
 - upload them to Ubuntu, changing the maintainer field to reflect your ownership of them.

Thanks for the notice, I pushed 2 uploads for gmtk and gnome-mplayer to take over ownership, at least for 16.04.

This bug was fixed in the package gmtk - 1.0.9-2ubuntu1

---------------
gmtk (1.0.9-2ubuntu1) xenial; urgency=medium

  * Take ownership of the package in Ubuntu, since it's now removed from Debian
    (LP: #1541961).

mplayer2 should also be removed from the archive and replaced with mplayer following Debian.
