Ekiga crashes after few minutes running Logi cam (46d-8cb)

Bug Description

Binary package hint: ekiga

Ekiga is connected to Logitech Quick Cam for note books pro usb (46d-8cb) using v4l2.
In higher light levels the image appears to be loosing sync with flashes on the lower half of the screen.
After varying amounts of time Ekiga will crash with the error "Segmentation fault (core dump)" when run from a terminal.
Ekiga is not connected to another client.

Ubuntu 7.10
Ekiga 2.0.11
Dell 1420 N came with Ubuntu 7.04 installed but updated to 7.10

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Intrepid Ibex. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu.
