Close button doesn't work on About dialog

Bug Description

Binary package hint: link-monitor-applet

Bring up the About... dialog box and the Close button doesn't do anything, only way to close is by the window managers button (X).

this is a dup for bug #3574, if you feel i'm in an error don't hesitate in reopen it.

That case is about "Help" in gnome-about-me, this is about "Close" in link-monitor-applet. The "Close" button works in the following applications fine:

About Me, gcalctool, Terminal, gedit, Workrave, weather applet, deskbar applet, and power manager.

The "Help" in link-monitor-applet works correctly as does the "Credits" button on the "About" dialog box.

The upstream author indicates both are fixed in 2.2 released September 2, 2007.

Unlike with the other bug 157326, this is solved when installed 2.2

in hardy there is no version 2.2 so still a bug, marking as confirmed, should I request a sync?

This has been fixed in Hardy, where we now have link-monitor-applet 3.0-1.
