Accepted llvm-toolchain-3.8 into trusty-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/llvm-toolchain-3.8/1:3.8-2ubuntu3~trusty2 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

this is wrong, the libllvm3.8 package needs a renaming to libllvm3.8v4 or else upgrades to xenial will fail.

Subsequently, the Ubuntu Stable Release Updates Team is being unsubscribed and will not receive messages about this bug report.
