LP 1580557 and LP 1580560 are the same bug (previously marked as a dup, but removed later).

This bug is awaiting verification that the kernel in -proposed solves the problem. Please test the kernel and update this bug with the results. If the problem is solved, change the tag 'verification-needed-trusty' to 'verification-done-trusty'.

If verification is not done by 5 working days from today, this fix will be dropped from the source code, and this bug will be closed.

Trusty 3.13 / 14.04 is OK, but the commits are not applied in the HWE branch for 14.04.x, which are the required target.

That was what I had in mind when requested for 14.04.x -- sorry if that wasn't explicit enough.

Can we get them for linux-lts-xenial / 14.04.x latest?
