Bug Description

I was happily using F Spot to organise my photo collection in 7.04 with no problems.

I've now transferred the data on to a clean install of 7.10 to find that occasionally F Spot 'freezes' the entire system

Hi Pedro

Thanks for your e-mail.
I've managed to install the required packages for creating the back trace but am struggling with what to complete for:

gdb 2>&1 | tee gdb-.txt

The program is F-Spot ..... so what should I put in the ?

Best Regards
Ian

PS I've been using Ubuntu for 2 months!!

Having struggled to produce a 'back trace', I've been doing a little more research and have discovered that I have a VIA graphics card which is most likely the source of my troubles. I have found other bug reports that exactly describe what is happening.

The machine with 7.04 has a different graphics card and f-spot is stable. I upgraded this machine at the weekend to 7.10 with no problems and f-spot is still stable.

Cheers!
