Bug Description

Impact
======
The original release of Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 includes GNOME Maps.
Ubuntu GNOME 16.04.1 does not include GNOME Maps because it wasn't working due to a service provider change (LP: #1602035). Since GNOME Maps has been working again for months, there's no reason not to restore GNOME Maps to Ubuntu GNOME 16.04.2

Because of how metapackages work in Ubuntu, those who installed the original 16.04 still have gnome-maps installed but those who installed 16.04.1 don't. This update should make things more consistent by having gnome-maps installed by default for everyone using Ubuntu GNOME 16.04, no matter when they installed it.

Test Case
=========
Option 1:
Install Ubuntu GNOME 16.04.1. Upgrade ubuntu-gnome-desktop. Is gnome-maps installed?

Option 2:
Upgrade ubuntu-gnome-desktop. Is gnome-maps recommended by ubuntu-gnome-desktop.

Option 3:
Check the daily builds to see if gnome-maps is included. Wait at least 24 hours after this update is accepted into xenial-proposed:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-gnome/xenial/daily-live/current/xenial-desktop-amd64.manifest

Regression Potential
====================
None. The only regression is if someone uninstalled gnome-maps because they didn't like it.

Other Info
==========
Because the gnome-maps issue was resolved before 16.10 was released, gnome-maps is already a recommends there and in 17.04 Alpha too.

Hello Jeremy, or anyone else affected,

Accepted ubuntu-gnome-meta into xenial-proposed. The package will build now and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-gnome-meta/0.58.2 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, and change the tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance!

I can confirm that updating my Ubuntu GNOME 16.04.1 install with -proposed enabled brings in gnome-maps.

gnome-maps is also now present in the daily xenial images which are currently built with -proposed enabled:
