Bug Description

version 1.5 in zesty proposed has unsatisfied depends on rekall-core

This is available in debian unstable, but not in ubuntu:

https://packages.debian.org/sid/rekall-core

As a result, forensics-all is stuck in zesty proposed pocket

This in turn will block the migration of KDE's gwenview package when it's tests are ok.

i.e. from update_output_notest.txt

trying: gwenview
skipped: gwenview (47, 1, 95)
    got: 80+0: a-16:a-7:a-8:i-11:p-14:p-6:s-18
    * amd64: forensics-all, forensics-extra-gui, forensics-full, gwenview

Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.

It looks like this package was recently re-introduced in Debian, or the package name has been reused(?). Since rekall was removed the last time (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rekall/+publishinghistory), new versions are not synced automatically.

I have requested a sync, see bug 1658747 for details, though I have to admit I'm not 100% sure if it will work consider the new version number seems lower than the "older" package.

  * Updated years in all copyright notices.
  * gen-control.sh: removed md5deep from EXCLUDE, this package has been
    removed from the Debian archive.
  * templates/control.part1:
      - Bumped Standards-Version to 4.0.0.
  * debian/control:
