Bug Description

Kdenlive fails to launch with the following error

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Since installing Ubuntu Mate 17.04 it will launch 5% of the time and then crash. The rest of the time when you click on Kdenlive, it simply does nothing and will not open.

I am running Ubuntu Mate 17.04 with the latest updates. I tried reinstalling it but the problems still persist.

I have tried uninstalling and also purging kdenlive and upon reinstall, the result is the same with the errors.
I have also tried Changing the entire theme back to default including icons and it still has the same issue.

with a fresh install of Ubuntu mate 17.04 everything it's ok.

This is ultimately caused by using the gtk2 style in kdeenlive which cause it to segfault. ubuntu-mate-settings make this the default to try and improve the visual integration of kdeenlive.

I've removed the setting overlay for kdenlive.
