One particular fix is Search (LP: #1697514)
And it should fix this crash where people manually change /usr/bin/python to something other than python2

Test Case
---------
Install the update.
Make sure the app runs correctly in both GNOME Shell and a different desktop like Unity.
Regression Potential
-------
This release has minimal fixes backported from the stable series.
It's important to check that Tweak Tool works properly outside of GNOME Shell since this wasn't adequately done for 3.24.0. (~fossfreedom applied a different fix for that issue for the Ubuntu package before 17.04 was released.)

I'd like to see the fix for bug 1678420, in the dropped patch because it was fixed upstream, verified again to ensure that it does not regress. That probably also should have been called out in the "Regression Potential" section of the bug report.
