at a first glance, it sounds like a breaking change in python-tripleoclient-7.2.1 that we just released.

I meant to mention 7.3.0 version, not 7.2.1.

I think we need to backport https://review.openstack.org/#/c/448328 and https://review.openstack.org/#/c/499424/

Steve, can you please confirm?

According to the logs, the undercloud gets python-tripleoclient-7.2.0-1.el7.noarch from:

http://mirror.regionone.tripleo-test-cloud-rh1.openstack.org:8080/buildlogs.centos/centos/7/cloud/x86_64/openstack-pike/python-tripleoclient-7.2.0-1.el7.noarch.rpm

And this one doesn't include https://review.openstack.org/#/c/499424/, so the command doesn't recognize the '-e' option.

We need a newer RPM for pike branch.

@mandre this looks like the same issue as https://bugs.launchpad.net/tripleo/+bug/1716239
https://review.openstack.org/502360 should fix yum repo priorities
