I fixed this by adding libcurl4-dev to the build-deps. I'll attach the debdiff.

Since libcurl4-dev is a virtual package, mind replacing it with libcurl4-gnutls-dev | libcurl-dev ?

Done, libcurl-dev doesn't exist, so i just put libcurl4-gnutls-dev, it builds.

Uploaded. I corrected a typo in changelog, which showed "claws-ma il-extra-plugins" instead of "claws-mail-extra-plugins".
Please, report this back to Debian, so will be able to sync it in the future. Thanks ;)

I first intented to report this directly to debian, but it doesn't ftbfs in debian, even without this dep ! So I reported it here. Do you think it's worth forwarding ?

I uploaded some packages which FTBFS and reported back changes to Debian. Many of them have been fixed.
Since Debian is not affected due to buildd implementation, I think it is worth for maintainers to add build-deps explicitly, since things can change and FTBFS may arise.
