Bug Description
Binary package hint: apport
Sometimes, people attach the .crash file to a bug report, which is something the retracers cannot handle. The retracers do not even see them in the first place, since these bugs are not automatically tagged.
We need a small tool to fix this which uses the existing apport machinery. It should probably be integrated into the CLI tool of bug 124338.
$ apport-collect --fix-monolithic 12345
This would:
- Look for a .crash attachment and download it.
- Load it into an ApportReport object
- Resubmit it to the existing bug, change the description appropriately, and set the retracing tags.
