I could provide you the latest source version including an updated debian/ directory that fulfills the debian policy if this is helpful to you.
Or is it possible tu create Ubuntu packages easily using Debian?

thank you, jacob, for your work on it.
apparently, you don't want to make use of my already done work for packaging it, although i noticed that you copied an old version of my debian/rules file. i can send you an updated version with cleaned files, more descriptive lines, manual page, and watch entry if you want, but you can stick with your current version, of course, too. ;-)

just one bug: please remove "with different color schemes" from your package description as "color scheme" is a special GNOME term and with GNOME 2.22 there will be own color scheme themes which gnome-color-chooser has nothing to do with.

thank you again and have a nice week,
Jack ;-)

If you want to use those debian files, go ahead and send them (changelog, control, rules, & copyright) to me at <email address hidden> and I'll send another package to REVU (with the updated description). I didn't find any debian files in your tarball on sourceforge, so I just created some simple ones with debhelper.

I now see you have a branch on Launchpad with the debian packaging files in it, however the branch seems outdated. Are those debian details you want to use?

Thanks,
Jacob

Hi,

It has been suggested that since this is pending approval for Debian we just make a sync request later on, as very few packaging details should need changing (if any) once accepted into Debian. As soon as this is possible I'll file this for a sync and hopefully this will make it into Hardy before feature freeze!

Thanks,
Jacob

It is now in debian, so I changed this to a sync request.
