Bug Description

The latest security updates for pxc-5.6 dropped changes made for Xenial (and Zesty) under 5.6.34-26.19-0ubuntu0.16.04.2 related to deployment on power architecture (see bug 1657256).

Impact of this is that at some point in time PXC will crash on PPC64EL based deployments.

I have tested the packages uploaded to ppa:ci-train-ppa-service/3089, both xenial and artful, and I can not reproduce the issue in bug bug 1657256.

The packages from the mentioned ppa fix this bug.

      a full memory barrier for InnoDB mutex entry/exit on PowerPC.
    - d/p/weak-memory-compat.patch: Removed as is covered by the new patch
      ibuf-uses-full-memory-barrier-ppc64.patch.
