broken statistics for translation status

Yes group this bug with Bug 173527 (I could not locate this latter one when searching for it in the Bug search form).
This bug should be rated High and fixed, because it adds lots of confusion when managing the various packages, and it becomes really a nightmare to check each translation coming from Launchpad, for project maintainers that need accurate info in order to import them in their own open-source repositories.
For this reason, many versions of open-source packages are released without the most accurate translations, because the reported status did not show the availability of these translations.
Regarding LimeWire itself, the French translation is still lacking very important changes that have been corrected here since months, but were not detected.
As long as the status will not be accurate, it will be impossible to automate the build process for releases, without lot of manual work (and subsequent handling of bug reports sent to the project maintainer itself instead of here).
Uncorrected translations are bad for the reputation of the project, notably when there were really bad translations introduced here by non native speakers, trying to "translate" things using really bad automatic translation systems, or when committing translations for unrelated messages (this is a GUI problem of Lauchpad, where translations can be added on the wrong place, and there's still no easy way to see the list of recent changes without scanning the complete set of messages; for large translation packages like LimeWire, it takes hours to control this online, and the only efficient way to perform such control is to do that through the import/export file interface, so that we can work on bundles out of Launchpad; this makes Launchpad itself really difficult or inefficient to use, also because it is still still really slow to browse the translations with it).
Consider adding an history of recent changes: clicking on each translator name and looking at its history is still missing a link to the relevant translation item: it's impossible to find an incorrect translation without recontroling the whole package, because it is still mising the message id; in addition having to control each translator is a pane: it mixes in the same report all packages on which he was working, and not just the one we wish to control, and there's still no synthetic list per package.
Launchpad still needs more work!

This has been fixed earlier. We are even providing an overview of the work a certain translator has done (just click on the file now, and it will take you to all the contributions a translator has done).

Consider the time when I posted this message: begining of december (already signaled in other past versions, but was still not solved after there was a new beta posted); It was still not fixed at that period. The fix is much more recent and not asserted as being reliable.

Also I did not report here a bug about the list of translators, but about the translation completion status in the overview with all languages listed
