Movie player scrambled, no matter which type of movie file is played. Movie player worked fine previously and then suddenly cannot see anything other than scrambled screen.

yea i have the same problem u Kubuntu 7.10 kaffein show grean lines and mplayer too,but when i change i gl...they work ok...try to swit to gl video

thanks for your report, can you take an screenshot of the issue? which video card do you have?do you have the visual effects enabled? does it happens if you disable them?, thanks.

i'm new to ubuntu linux. i'm just now putting in a movie to play on my desktop. the player required some updates, which i followed and now the screen i'm trying to watch the movie is scrambled. it's like the video or movie is copy riight protected to where they won't let you watch it on certain programs.
