Hi,
Error as subject:
a. Open up time and date settings
b. check checkbox to periodically synchronize with server
c. asked to install npt support, accept
d. synaptic loads and installs ntp packages
e. check checkbox to periodically synchronize with server
f. asked to install npt support - obviously the install was not recognised
I closed the window and opened it again, and the box became checked.
The system didn't recognise this until I closed and re-opened the 'adjust date
and time' window.
I reported this to gnome bugzilla, and this was deemed to be ubuntu
