Bug Description

Binary package hint: acpi-support

Resume failed after suspend to ram on Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile U9200.

I've managed to fix it, so it may be interesting to include this model on the module pre-configuration.

You need to add this to the "/etc/defaults/acpi-support" file:

POST_VIDEO=false

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?

If it is still an issue in 8.10, please find out which quirks you need at

  http://people.freedesktop.org/~hughsient/quirk/quirk-suspend-debug.html

and then do "lshal > /tmp/hal.txt" and attach /tmp/hal.txt here. Thanks!

For this exercise, please reset your changes in /etc/defaults/acpi-support.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the current release - Karmic Koala. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in Ubuntu. Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
