Bug Description

In kernel 2.6.22-14-generic, acpi_listen registers no events for the Asus M6R24M hot keys. In 2.6.20.16, the hot keys work as expected. I have booted into both kernels using the same machine and the problem is only present for 2.6.20.16.

I'm running vanilla gutsy with all updates installed.

To re-produce, press fn+F12 using both kernels.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?

Hi Dan,

Good timing :-)

I installed 8.10 last weekend and the hot keys are back in action. It must have been a bug with just one or two kernel revisions.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to me.

Consider this resolved.

Cheers.

Andy Atkinson.
