dhclient doesn't send host-name

Bug Description

Binary package hint: dhcdbd

send host-name "<hostname>"; is no longer in dhclient.conf

Which means my dhcp server can't do the DDNS update.

Which version of Ubuntu is this?

I'm using Gutsy, and I've noticed that my router can never tell the hostname of my Ubuntu machines. Is this related?

request subnet-mask, broadcast-address, time-offset, routers, domain-name, domain-name-servers, host-name, ntp-servers;

well, my Gutsy box has it. check for the line:
send host-name "<hostname>";

I dont understand? why have to wait on ibex???
if there is company try using Ubuntu LTS with a lot of client have this problem, you will update 3 year later???
