Bug Description

https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libinput/libinput/issues/232

---

While moving pointer (cursor) using Touchpad, vertical movement is very slow and short (= less velocity and less acceleration compared to horizontal axis). Horizontal movement is fine. So, when circle is drawn on the Touchpad, the pointer moves in oval shape.

Thanks.

Also, sorry but I failed to notice earlier that you're using 18.04 so have an older version of libinput (1.10.4). Would you be able to live boot Ubuntu 19.04 (http://cdimages.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/) and tell us if that (libinput 1.12.6) has the same bug?

Yes, I confirm. The same bug exists on Ubuntu Disco Dingo (development branch), Release 19.04 with libinput --version 1.12.6.
